“ A great cosy and typical English breakfast bar/cafe. Staff welcoming and friendly, The only thing I did not like is the use of tin tomatoes ( which is mentioned in menu). Like it or lump it you get one and there is no hiding from it. But all in all a good experience with good hot breakfast and tea/coffee served to your delight. ”

“ I found this place when we moved back to the UK in '84. I had a job down the road near the Bedford plant. They used to do a burger that I'd always get and it was way better than you could get at Macca's. It was a double patty with cheese and salad feast. I remember the manager/owner was an older tall slim bloke. No Idea if he's still running it. I was 19 at the time when I was in that area. I'm sure I'd not recognise Dunstable now. It took me a while to remember which roads were which as it was near on 30 years since I was living there. ”
“ Have visited many times over many years. Always good service and good food at a good price. The menu is basic but covers a decent range of burgers, grills, breakfasts, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and omelets. Also a few deserts although I've never had a desert here. Note that you'll generally need to pay cash here. ”

It's been a staple of Dunstable Town through all the changes. The quality and prices are on point... it will be a sad day if it ever closes its doors permanently.
